MBACP, MA(Oxon), PGCE Psychotherapeutic Counsellor, Healer, and Clinical Supervisor Hello, my name is Susie. I live with my husband and two daughters in Newcastle upon Tyne.
I have developed my deeply healing, compassionate, spiritual and mindful therapy techniques through two decades of personal healing and inner work and over 10 years of empowering hundreds of clients in their own lives with issues such as childhood abuse, post-natal depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress, sexuality and gender issues, acute stress, fertility, decision-making, sexual assault, relationship breakdown, grief, anger, sadness, fear, phobias, marital difficulties, sex abuse, shame, body image, self-harm, suicidal thoughts, domestic abuse, burn-out... I love my work and what I love most about it is seeing the often miraculous transformation in the women and men that I work with. It gives me such joy to witness the huge shifts that can happen for people emotionally, mentally and sometimes even physically within therapy. I find it such a privilege that my clients trust me enough to take them deeper into themselves than they have ever been before usually. And it is such a gift to be able to trust that whatever is going on inside my client is going to show us the way; I don't have to have the answers - they're all there inside each person's subconscious - I just have to give my client the tools to mindfully access them. I also enjoy dancing, swimming, meditation, being out in nature, reading, and dancing some more! I have a Biological Sciences degree from Oxford University, a Post Graduate Certificate in Education from Birmingham University and a Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling from the Northern Guild for Psychotherapy.
